I work for Silverdale Printing and have been in the printing industry for 27 years. I’ve completed an apprenticeship in offset printing and have worked for a several printing firms in a variety of different roles. I love fishing every day the sun shines with someone that can bait my rod, gut and fillet fish and looks a bit like Cameron Diaz.

My knowledge of the printing industry has come from a heads down bottom up approach, I have had to turn my hand to a variety of different jobs, plate making, die cutting, using the guillotine binding etc. My back ground has been in banking, and staff management, so you will find me in the office area with accounts and administration. Furthermore I don’t make a bad cup of coffee either. Thank goodness women can multitask. I’m boss No 2 I’ve still got “L” plates on within the printing industry and there is so much more to learn.. I have a great love of animals and one day I can see myself on a small farm with lots of varieties of animal’s (far cry from printing).

I have worked for Silverdale Printing 5 years now.  I work in the bindery department doing what ever it takes to get the job completed which consists of collating, packing, making NCR books etc. I like a bit of a laugh and Dean is always having me on about things. I’m not accident prone but I do like plasters mmmmmm.

I started working as a Mac Operator for Silverdale Printing, in November 2008, I have had 15 plus years previous experience in Mac operations and design work. The work is very demanding at times, I love all aspects of designing and have learnt and continue to learn about pre-press requirements. My hobbies are acrylic painting, I love my horse, fishing and my partners not bad either.

I have worked for Silverdale Printing for 15 years before we decided it was time to go sailing instead of working. I sold the business and now I’m on call to help out in the busy times and have been awarded a purple shirt after 15 yrs.
